Northstar Yamaha is a family business located on Brisbanes Northside and is privately owned by Michael and Lisa Edwards. Michael is an avid motorcyclist – an ex road racer who, for many years raced in the Australian Superbike Championship. After success in racing, he has put all his competitive energy into this business. Michael, Lisa and their children own and ride both road and dirt bikes and can be found enjoying this lifestyle on most weekends. Every staff member at Northstar Yamaha is a motorcycle enthusiast.

Northstar Yamaha originated from a joint venture between Michael Edwards & his brother Matthew.

The two Brothers established Star Yamaha (owned by Matthew) in the mid nineties which went on to become Australia’s Number 1 Yamaha Dealer.

The all new NORTH LAKES super store replaces Bowen Hills and prior Toombul Dealerships which were established in the year 2000.

The new site has a very prominent position on Flinders Parade, just down from Bunning & Costco, plus we have street frontage on the North South arterial road through North Lakes. You can also see the site from the Bruce Highway. We have a much larger showroom, outdoor display, accessories area & workshop facility. The store has an ideal size – being large enough to be able to offer customers the most competitive prices, but small enough to be able to give the customer personalised service. Northstar Yamaha is one of a very few Brisbane City dealerships where you can deal directly with the business owner.

Northstar Yamaha have a fully equipped workshop with qualified Technicians trained to tune, service and repair most brands.
